2001 Tom and Roberta Drewes Scholarship winners named

The American Library Association (ALA) has named Alison J. Ince of Washington, D.C., as the recipient of the 2001 Tom and Roberta Drewes Scholarship.

The $3,000 scholarship is awarded to individuals currently working as library support staff and is to be used towards studies for a master's degree in library and information studies.

Ince is currently working as a library technician at the Academy for Educational Development in Washington, D.C. She has taught in the United States and Japan.

Ince is attending the Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C. She plans to become a reference librarian so that she can "combine her love of research with the challenge of assisting others."

Ince was recognized in June during the ALA Annual Conference in San Francisco.
