2001 David H. Clift and Exhibits Round Table Scholarship winners named
The American Library Association (ALA) is pleased to announce the winners of the David H. Clift and Exhibits Round Table Scholarships.
The Clift Scholarship, named for David H. Clift, a former director of ALA, provides $3,000 to individuals pursuing a master's degree in library and information studies.
The winners are:
- Elizabeth M. Anstak of South Bend, Ind., who will attend the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee
- Jennifer L. Ogrodowski of Rochester, N.Y., who will attend Albany State University of New York
- Marc C. Tiar of Reno, Nev., who will attend the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee
- Erica Jo Wilder of Median, Ohio, who will attend Simmons College.
The Exhibits Round Table Scholarship provides $3,000 to individuals pursuing a master's degree in library and information studies.
The winners are:
- Melissa A. Adams of Arcata, Calif., who will be attending San Jose State University
- Wendy A. Hallabeck of New Haven, Conn., who will be attending Simmons College
- Donna E. Hopkin-Pidgeon of Windham, N.Y., who will be attending Southern Connecticut State University
- Theresa A. Laffey of Medina, Ohio, who will be attending Kent State University
- Elizabeth Spackman of Dumfries, Va., who will be attending the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill
- Elizabeth A. Weigand of Cincinnati, Ohio, who will be attending Kent State University.
The winners were recognized in June during the ALA's Annual Conference in San Francisco.
