Meet the 2023 Class of Emerging Leaders at Poster Session during ALA 2023 Annual Conference

We are excited and pleased to invite attendees of the American Library Association’s (ALA) 2023 Annual Conference to meet the 2023 class of Emerging Leaders (EL) at a celebratory poster session Friday, June 23, 2023, 2:30 p.m.  – 3:30 p.m., in the McCormick Place Convention Center - W178b.

The poster session will be the culminating event for this class of Emerging Leaders. Since the ALA 2023 LibLearnX Meeting in January, teams have been working virtually on professional projects related to ALA or one of the affiliate organizations. These teams have been supported by ALA staff and member guides from the profession. The poster session will allow each group to highlight its creative and innovative solutions for their projects.

Participants in this class of ELs come from across the United States and Canada and represent a variety of types of libraries. Approximately 83% of participants were sponsored by an ALA division, round table, chapter, or an affiliate organization.
