CHICAGOJoin Core: Leadership, Infrastructure, Futures for the half-day preconference “Introduction to Library Assessment" on Friday, June 23, 2023, during the 2023 ALA Annual Conference & Exhibition in Chicago, IL. This session will discuss different types of assessments that may occur at all levels of libraries. Using an assessment framework designed for and used at the Brigham Young University (BYU) library, it will examine participants' assessment experience and current assessment needs. The workshop will offer opportunities to network with other librarians who are interested in assessment opportunities and collaborations. By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to identify assessment opportunities within their respective libraries and utilize the assessment framework used at BYU.
