Core ALA Annual Preconference: Embedding Anti-Racism Practices into Program Innovations

CHICAGO—Core: Leadership, Infrastructure, Futures will host the half-day session “Embedding Anti-Racism Practices into Program Innovations" on Friday, June 26, 2026, during the 2026 ALA Annual Conference & Exhibition in Chicago, IL. Join Preservation in Action for an engaging opportunity to help preserve cultural heritage in Chicago and gain practical experience! Participants will take part in a day-long preservation-focused project at a local cultural heritage institution. The project will be led by preservation experts and participants will gain basic hands-on training in the care and handling of various materials. No experience is required.
