CHICAGO—Core: Leadership, Infrastructure, Futures will host the half-day tour “The George Blood LP Facility Tour" on Friday, June 27, 2025, during the 2025 ALA Annual Conference & Exhibition in Philadelphia, PA. Come see the inner workings of renowned preservation house George Blood LP, who digitizes thousands of obsolete and deteriorating media each year. George Blood handles over 200 A/V media formats – &8s, cylinders, reel-to-reel, U-matic, Betacam, 16 and 35MM, and everything in between. Come with your questions and talk to industry experts!
