Meet the 2025 Class of Emerging Leaders at a Poster Session during ALA Annual Conference
The Emerging Leaders’ program facilitators are excited to invite attendees of the American Library Association’s (ALA) 2025 Annual Conference to meet the 2025 class of Emerging Leaders (EL) at a celebratory poster session Friday, June 27, 2025, 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m., in the Philadelphia Convention Center, Ballroom A.
The poster session will be the culminating event for this class of Emerging Leaders. Since the ALA 2025 LibLearnX Meeting in January, teams have been working virtually on professional projects related to ALA or one of the affiliate organizations. These teams have been supported by ALA staff and member guides from the profession. The poster session will allow each group to highlight its creative and innovative solutions for their projects.
Participants in this class of ELs come from across the United States and Canada and represent a variety of types of libraries. Approximately 61% of participants were sponsored by an ALA division, round table, chapter, or an affiliate organization.
Please join us on Friday, June 27th, during the ALA 2025 Annual Conference & Exhibition in Philadelphia to meet, congratulate and encourage this amazing class of Emerging Leaders.
