Deadline Extended until March 15th-Scholastic Library Publishing Award Call for Nominations
CHICAGO - The American Library Association (ALA) has extended the deadline for nominations for the Scholastic Library Publishing Award, until March 15, 2025. An annual award consisting of $1,000 and a 24k gold-framed citation presented to a librarian whose "unusual contribution to the stimulation and guidance of reading by children and young people" exemplifies outstanding achievement in the profession.
