YALSA needs your hit teen program ideas for the 365 Days of YA online calendar

CHICAGO — The Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA) is looking for ideas big and small on easy-to-implement programs, services and activities for teens. The newly formed 365 Days of YA Taskforce needs tried and true ideas as it creates an online calendar full of teen service resources aimed at librarian generalists and paraprofessionals.

“These are simple ideas that can be used by anyone working with youth in libraries,” said April Pavis, 365 Days of YA Taskforce member. “Ideas relating to YALSA resources, using technology or encouraging teen participation in libraries are encouraged, but we want to hear about any program, service, display or activity that has been a hit with your patrons.”

Help YALSA fill out the calendar with great programs for the teens we all love to serve, by emailing all ideas to 365daysofya@gmail.com.
