ProgrammingLibrarian.org presents webinar on hosting 'Let’s Talk About It' reading and discussion programs
CHICAGO — At 2 p.m. Central time, Dec. 12, ProgrammingLibrarian.org will present a live, one-hour webinar, "Let’s Talk About It: The National Model for Scholar-Led Reading and Discussion."
For more than 30 years, hundreds of libraries across the country have engaged their communities by offering “Let’s Talk About It” reading and discussion programs. This webinar will provide how-to information about bringing this popular, five-part, scholar-led series to your library. Presented by Frannie Ashburn, an LTAI state-level coordinator and 24-year veteran, the webinar will offer an overview of the model, tips for recruiting and working with a scholar and a tour of ProgrammingLibrarian.org’s ready-to-present program content on more than 30 LTAI themes. This session will also provide application information for an upcoming round of LTAI cash programming grants and tips on applying for state-level support.
