'Going Virtual Without Going Mad' webinar

CHICAGO — Want to make it easier for your membership to get involved in national activities? Looking to understand ALA policies regarding what can and cannot be done virtually? Having trouble with your current virtual set-up? Plan to attend this FREE, one-hour webinar on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012 for answers to these questions and more.

Learning outcomes:

  • Review of ALA policies regarding virtual meetings, open meetings;
  • Review good meeting skills, virtual or real;
  • Hear from and question two round table (RT) leaders who will describe switching many of their RT meetings to virtual meetings;
  • Interact with presenters in a general Q&A;
  • Experience ALA’s new meeting platform, Adobe Connect.

ALA members/group leaders who want to switch to a more virtual method of conducting committee and/or board business.
