Gale Cengage Learning Financial Development Award 2012
CHICAGO - Do you know of a library that has had a successful library financial development program? Recognize this successful project with a nomination for the Gale Cengage Learning Financial Development Award funded by Gale Cengage, Inc.
ALA is currently accepting nominations for the Gale Cengage Learning Financial Development Award. The Gale Cengage Award is given to a library organization for exhibiting meritorious achievement in carrying out a library financial development project to secure new funding resources for a public, school or academic library. This award has been given since 1984. A variety of academic, public and school libraries have been the recipient of this award, which recognizes the implementation of a financial development project that garners new funding for library services.
The award includes $2,500 and a gold-framed citation. More information on the award is available on the ALA Awards website.
Six copies of the nomination form are to be submitted to ALA. Nominations are due December 15, 2011, with selection of the awardee by the end of February, 2012.
