Carnegie-Whitney Grant 2012 award winners
CHICAGO — The Carnegie-Whitney Grant provides grants for the preparation, either in print and/or electronically, of popular or scholarly reading lists, webliographies, indexes and other guides to library resources that will be useful to users of all types of libraries in the United States.
The American Library Association Publishing Committee is proud to announce the 2012 Carnegie-Whitney Award winners, whose proposed projects promote reading or the use of library resources.

Janne Boone: Horses 101: Resources for Rescue Groups and Horse Advocates
Paul Kauppila: Reggae and Ska Bibliography
Jere Odell: Conscientious Objection in the Healing Professions: A Reader’s Guide to the Ethical and Social Issues
Frances Yates: Seeing the World Through a Different Lens: Diversity in International Youth Films
Janalyn Moss and Lisa Martinicik: Graphic History: A Database for Graphic Novels about History
Heather Doran, Helen Tanner: American Indian History Collection
Wesley Boomgaarden: Logan Elm Press Online Catalogue Raisonné

Applications for the next cycle must be received by Nov. 2, 2012. Recipients will be notified by the end of February 2013.
