Core Classroom: Fundamentals of Hiring
CHICAGO—Join Core from October 24 to November 4 for the Core Classroom “Fundamentals of Hiring”. Led by experienced organizational leader Julia Davis, who developed and continues to teach Core’s Fundamentals of Management course, this Classroom will provide a brief introduction to effective hiring. It will utilize readings, videos, live chat sessions, and practical application assignments to instill its concepts. By the end of this Classroom, attendees will be able to identify the key steps to effective hiring, understand the potential impacts of bias on the hiring process, and learn how to advocate for fair and effective hiring practices.

Format
Students have 24/7 access to the class site for the duration of the class, and aside from assignment deadlines, the work can be completed at their own pace. Presenters will have office hours to provide guidance and feedback as students work their way through the material. All registrants must be able to attend the live zoom sessions and complete the assignments to receive the certificate of completion.
Requirements
A computer with Internet access is required. A high-speed connection and headphones are recommended. No experience is necessary; beginners from any background are welcome.
