Learn how to build and operate a digital media lab in upcoming PLA webinar

CHICAGO – Join the Public Library Association (PLA) to learn how to build and operate a digital media lab in your library. “Building and Operating Your Digital Media Lab” will take place on May 4 at 1:00 p.m. Central.

Instructor Jeffrey Fisher of the Fountaindale Public Library (Bolingbrook, Ill.) will share his strategies for building and operating a digital media lab. To guide you on your own journey, he’ll address topics including:

  • Tools to build a digital media lab;
  • Promoting and marketing your digital media lab to patrons;
  • Simple ways to troubleshoot issues with your digital media lab; and
  • What’s next? Digital media lab trends.

The cost to attend “Building and Operating Your Digital Media Lab” is $28 (PLA Members), $31.50 (ALA Members) and $35 (Nonmembers). Groups of any size can register for $129. The registration deadline is 11:59 p.m. Central on Monday, May 2.
