Creating a Digital Media Space Today's Teens, popular workshop returns
CHICAGO — ALA Publishing has brought back the popular 2-part workshop Creating a Digital Media Space for Today's Teens with Corey Wittig. This workshop includes two 60 minute workshops hosted live at 2:00 p.m. Eastern on Thursday, Apr. 14 & 21, 2016.
- Steps for getting started, including planning and getting buy-in from library stakeholders
- Budgeting and allocation
- Scheduling staff time efficiently
- Ways to get funding through grants and community partnerships
About the Instructor:
Corey Wittig is Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh’s Digital Learning Librarian and program manager for The Labs @ CLP, a system-wide network of "Learning Labs" for teens with plans to expand program offerings to other age groups. For his work designing and implementing The Labs he was named a 2012 Library Journal Mover & Shaker. He has worked at Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh since 2006.
