How to Get Your Bounce Back! Session to be presented during ALA’s 2016 Midwinter Meeting
A session entitled How to Get Your Bounce Back! will be presented on Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016, 1:30 - 2:30 p.m., during the ALA Midwinter Meeting in Boston (#alamw16). The session will be hosted by and held in the ALA JobLIST Placement and Career Development Center.
The quality of your work life and your health are more important than ever - especially if you’re at midcareer where your expertise may be higher but your energy may have taken a dip. Workloads can seem overwhelming - with fewer resources and higher expectations. But you CAN take actions that will make a positive difference, put a smile back on your face, and a shine on your career efforts.
Join us for this interactive session where you can to learn some easy-to-use tools and techniques to take great care of yourself and revitalize your career at the same time.
The session presenter, Caitlin Williams, Ph.D., is a career consultant and coach who works with librarians and other service professionals to help them thrive in their work and their lives. Caitlin has been collaborating with ALA for over a decade through speaking, coaching at ALA conferences, providing podcasts and articles on professional development, and offering Career Development Facilitator trainings. She loves interacting with library and information science professionals whose work is so vital and transforming. Caitlin is a member of the American Library Association.
