Library learning goes online, live webcast

CHICAGO — Online learning is changing the way schools work. From elementary to graduate school to continuing education—online tools are creating new horizons in distance learning and supplement in-person learning. But what does this mean for libraries? How can we enhance traditional library instruction with online tools? How do we create standards in the face of technology that is constantly changing?

The next broadcast of American Libraries Live is airing at 2 p.m. Eastern on Thursday, Feb. 12 and will cover the topic of "Library Learning Goes Online." This free, streaming video broadcast can be viewed from your home, library or on-the-go.
