ALA Virtual Town Hall meetings archived for viewing on demand

CHICAGO – The American Library Association’s three virtual town hall meetings, held during the months of November and December, have been archived and are now available to members to view at their convenience.

These meetings focused on the Association’s new strategic directions for the next three to five years: Advocacy, Information Policy and Leadership Development. They were hosted by ALA President Courtney Young and ALA Executive Director Keith Michael Fiels.

ALA members were invited to participate in all three virtual town halls and given a real-time opportunity to share their vision, opinions, and ideas in these three critical areas, and a forum to further engage with ALA leadership.
