Add ALCTS continuing education to your fall schedule
CHICAGO — Add ALCTS continuing education to your fall schedule this year.
ALCTS is the Association for Library Collections and Technical Services. From copyright issues to collection management standards to "Fundamentals," there is a webinar or Web course waiting for you. And don't forget about our e-Forums: free online discussions offered once a month.
You can see the line-up of offerings and get registration information by visiting the ALCTS Online Learning Web page. You'll find listings of the webinars and Web courses.
For more specific webinar information, go directly to the ALCTS webinar page. Here you'll see all the scheduled webinars with descriptions. ALCTS is always looking for great new ideas and interested presenters. If you have an idea for an ALCTS webinar you can fill out the webinar proposal form. We'll be in touch.
Want a more in-depth examination of a topic? Then look at the ALCTS "Fundamentals" series of Web courses. These introductory courses are four weeks long, lead by outstanding content experts, but have limited enrollment. Sign up now to reserve your spot.
Need more information? Contact Julie Reese, jreese@ala.org, the ALCTS CE Manager. She’ll be glad to help you find a learning experience suited to your interest.
