Kingma to speak on innovation and quality in education
CHICAGO — Bruce Kingma, former associate dean of the ALA-accredited Master of Science in Library and Information Science program and associate provost for entrepreneurship and innovation at Syracuse University, and Dodson visiting professor at the LIS program at the University of British Columbia, has been selected keynote speaker for the Association of Specialized and Professional Accreditors (ASPA) fall meeting, Sept. 9, 2013, at the Baltimore Hyatt Regency. The program topic is Academic Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
ASPA provides a collaborative forum and a collective voice for organizations that assure the quality of specialized and professional higher education programs and schools. The American Library Association Committee on Accreditation is a member of ASPA and follows its Code of Good Practice.
