'Libraries & Health Insurance: Preparing for October 1'

WASHINGTON, D.C.— Is your library prepared to deal with the rush of patrons who will need help completing Affordable Care Act health form applications this year? In October, library patrons are expected to come to libraries in great numbers to learn about new insurance requirements and options available. Libraries will need to know about the resources that will help library patrons.

To learn how to serve patrons on the new health program, participate in “Libraries & Health Insurance: Preparing for October 1,” from 1 - 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 30, 2013, in the McCormick Place Convention Center Room S501BCD. Speakers include Jackie Garner, Medicaid consortium administrator; Susan Hildreth, director of Institute of Museum and Library Services, Ruth Holst, associate director at the National Network of Library of Medicine Greater Midwest Regional Medical Library at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and Kendra Morgan, senior program manager, OCLC Webjunction.
