Networking opportunities during ALA JobLIST Placement Center Open House, Sunday during Midwinter Meeting
CHICAGO - As part of its continuing efforts to help job seekers and employers make connections, the ALA JobLIST Placement Center will once again host an Open House from 10:30 a.m. - noon on Sunday, Jan. 27th in the JobLIST Placement Center during the upcoming Midwinter Meeting in Seattle. The Placement Center will be located on Level 4, Hall E, in the front of Aisle 300 of the Washington State Convention Center.
Representatives from various libraries and library-related companies will have an opportunity to talk with conference attendees about their individual work environments. In addition to discussing employment opportunities, representatives will also converse about various aspects that make their institutions unique – such as work culture, facilities, sports, music, arts, campus and community life, etc. They will showcase the activities available in and around their institutions that highlight the quality of life.
All conference attendees are welcomed and encouraged to attend. There is no cost to participate in the Open House. Institutions/organizations interested in participating in the Open House should complete the participation form.
