Help LLAMA and United for Libraries develop fundraising programs for librarians and advocates

PHILADELPHIA — The Library Leadership & Administration Association (LLAMA) and United for Libraries are requesting feedback via a survey as they work together to develop a pre- or post-conference event on fundraising for the 2013 American Library Association (ALA) Conference, in addition to webinars on fundraising.

More and more, libraries are complementing tax support with fundraising efforts. As services become increasingly diverse, so too are the funding streams to support them. An event at the 2013 ALA Annual Conference, which will be planned by LLAMA and United for Libraries, will bring together experts in fundraising to help librarians and library fundraisers learn how to become more effective in their efforts. In addition, LLAMA and United for Libraries are developing webinars about library fundraising. In order to deliver outstanding programming and webcasts, LLAMA and United for Libraries are requesting responses to a brief, quick survey. The deadline to complete the survey is Oct. 1, 2012. To access the survey, visit http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/united-llama-survey.
