The Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA), a division of the American Library Association, can offer you a way to advocate for teen library services with just two clicks of a mouse: the Tweet Your U.S. Senator Map, developed by YALSA’s Legislative Committee.

To use the map:

  • Log into Twitter on your browser, then visit the map at
  • Click on the marker for your senator and click the Tweet Me! Link that pops up under the senator’s name.

The following message will automatically generate, tweeted to your senator: "Pls fund the Library Services & Technology Act at $184.7M & Innovative Approaches to Literacy Act at $28.6M #nlld @yalsa."
