YALSA offers CEU hours for its winter online courses

CHICAGO — The Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA) will offer two continuing education unit–approved online courses during its winter 2012 session, which begins on Feb. 6.

Participants in Power Programming, taught by Amy Alessio and running Feb. 6 to March 5, will earn one CEU for their efforts. The cost for this course is $135 for YALSA members, $175 for ALA members and $195 for nonmembers.

Participants in Connect, Create, Collaborate: Supporting Teen Needs with Technology, taught by Linda Braun and running Feb. 6 to March 19, will earn 1.5 CEU hours for their efforts. The cost for this course is $149 for YALSA members, $195 for ALA members and $215 for nonmembers.
