Early bird registration for PLA 2012 ends this Friday

CHICAGO — There are only a few days left to take advantage of early bird savings on registration for the 2012 Public Library Association (PLA) Conference, March 13-17 in Philadelphia. The early bird registration deadline is Friday, Jan. 13, 2012. Until then, PLA members and Pennsylvania Library Association (PaLA) members receive a special price of $215 to join their colleagues for five days of public library education, networking and special events.

Register today so you don’t miss keynote speakers Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Betty White , nearly 200 educational programs, engaging author events, unique networking opportunities or the bustling exhibits floor. With the money you save, consider putting it towards an intensive and interactive preconference to get even more professional development. Eleven preconferences on March 13 and 14 tackle topics like media relations, leadership and grant writing.
