Eat, drink, network with reference colleagues at RUSA Membership Social

CHICAGO- - Kick off the 2012 ALA Midwinter Meeting in style with the Reference and User Services Association’s (RUSA) Membership Social—an opportunity to eat, drink, network, win door prizes and learn more about RUSA.

The social is one of many RUSA activities at the Midwinter Meeting in Dallas and is open to all current RUSA members, friends of RUSA and those meeting attendees interested in learning more about the association and networking with peers. RUSA serves a broad range of library professionals, including reference and business reference librarians, as well as those in the fields of collection development, readers advisory, genealogy, bibliography, historical reference, resource sharing and computer-based reference, among others. All attendees will have the opportunity to win fantastic door prizes, including free registration for the 2012 ALA Annual Conference in Anaheim.

Past, present and future RUSA members are all invited to this event, which will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012 in the Century A Ballroom at the Adolphus Hotel, 1321 Commerce Street, Dallas. Appetizers and drinks will be available, and RSVPs are not required. The event is generously sponsored by Thomson Reuters.
