First-ever Over the Rainbow bibliography released
SAN DIEGO – The 2011 Over the Rainbow Project book list, sponsored by the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgendered Round Table (GLBTRT) of the American Library Association (ALA), was announced at ALA’s Midwinter Meeting in San Diego.
The bibliography features quality fiction and non-fiction books that are recognized by the committee for their authentic expression of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender experiences. This year’s list includes 108 titles published between July 1, 2009 and Dec. 31, 2010.
The purpose of the Project is to recognize current quality non-fiction and fiction books that authentically express gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender experiences.
