ALA Editions on Google eBookstore

CHICAGO—With the recent launch of the long-awaited Google eBookstore, hundreds of titles from ALA Editions, the publishing imprint of the American Library Association, are now available there. Titles range from recent bestsellers such as "No Shelf Required: E-Books in Libraries" to 1969’s "ALA Rules for Filing Catalog Cards." Unlike many other e-book platforms, Google allows readers to use multiple devices to read any e-book, anywhere. Users can read e-books purchased from Google on the Web, Android phones, iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and several supported e-readers. The Google eBookstore overview has a complete tutorial.

Readers may browse this list of selected ALA Editions titles or use the search function to find a specific book. Additional ALA Editions titles will be added as they become available.
ALA Editions publishes resources used worldwide by tens of thousands of library and information professionals to improve programs, build on best practices, develop leadership, and for personal professional development.
