ALA Store at 2010 Annual Conference

CHICAGO-The ALA Store, located beside Registration outside the exhibits hall, announces its hours of operation at the 2010 Annual Conference:

Friday, June 25, 10:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, June 26, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Sunday, June 27, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Monday, June 28, 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

ALA Graphics has a diverse line-up of Celebrity READ posters available, including Taraji P. Henson, Queen Rania, Hugh Laurie, Jonas Brothers, Rachel Maddow and the Twilight series. Also available are posters and bookmarks for young readers and teens, featuring the delightful characters from "Bone," "Where the Wild Things Are," and " "Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief." If seeking a gift for someone back home, the eco-friendly Read Renew Return line, as well as the Born to Read and READ gift products will ensure you find something special.

Several ALA Editions titles will be making their Conference debuts, including "Designing Space for Children and Teens in Libraries and Public Places," offering creative and practical ideas for this important area; "The Librarian’s Book of Lists," a new collection of arcane librariana and amusing trivia; and "Children’s Services," edited by popular expert Betsy Diamant-Cohen. Also available are two new books published in association with YALSA: "Risky Business," by Linda W. Braun, Hillias J.
