ALA launches its Awards, Grants & Scholarships resource
CHICAGO – The Awards, Grants & Scholarships resource (http://www.ala.org/ala/awardsgrants/allawardsgrants/index.cfm) is now available to the public for searching or browsing the many ways that ALA offers recognition. Included in the resource are all of the books awards, professional recognition awards, grants, scholarships and “best of” lists that ALA and its Divisions, Offices, and Round Tables offer throughout the year.
The database contains most of the available data back through 2004. The information can be broken down by type of award, ALA unit, or by doing a specific search.
