LITA Altmetrics and Digital Analytics Interest Group

Advances in Altmetrics and Digital AnalyticsWhat do altmetrics and web analytics have in common? Both are key data points thatLibraries can leverage to evaluate information or assess a service!   The LITA Altmetrics and Digital Analytics interest group will host a panel discussion to talk about innovative uses of altmetrics and web analytics.  Mingle with other metric focused individuals and share your ideas/experience on web analytics or altmetrics related projects.
LITA Electronic Resources Management Interest Group
The ALCTS/LITA ERM Interest Group, in collaboration with the ALCTS Acquisitions Section Acquisitions Technology Committee, will host a panel entitled "Meeting the E-resource Challenge: 
Utilizing ERMS in Libraries.” The program will feature a panel of public and academic librarians talking about their experiences with ERMS.
LITA Imagineering Interest Group
The Imagineering Interest Group will meet to discuss the group's future plans. Please attend if you are interested in becoming more involved with the group or helping plan for the future.
LITA Search Engine Optimization Interest Group
Attendees will have an opportunity to share their experiences with 
search engine optimization.    We will also discuss the  SEO Best Practices Wiki 
entry in Library Success: A Best Practices Wiki as well as the latest SEO tools.

Create the framework and interests of those involved in the 3D printer LITA IG group.  The meeting will also establish which members can contribute to specific resources

LITA Instructional Technologies Interest Group

Join us as we discuss technology tools and platforms for library instruction. Come and share your ideas for using technology to reach off campus users or distance students and learn from your peers. LITA Game Making Interest Group

During the Game Making Interest Group meeting, we will have two presentations and a group discussion about games in libraries. Brian Mayer, Gaming and Library Technology Specialist at the School Library System of the Genesee Valley Educational Partnership published a game, Freedom: The Underground Railroad, last year and will be talking about the process of creating an educational game for commercial purposes and its application and use in education as well as its impact. Kyle Felker, Digital Initiatives Librarian at Grand Valley State University, will discuss the process of creating the Library Quest game.
LITA Library Consortia Automated Systems Interest Group
Managing IT services in a consortium has its own particular challenges and opportunities.   The Library Consortia Automated Systems Interest Group providesan informal forum where people  working in a consortium environment can share ideas and seek advice.
The Public Library Technology Interest Group
The Public Library Technology Interest Group guest speaker will be Charlie Warpner, Information Policy Analyst for the American Library Association, Office of Information Policy, Washington Office. He will speak to the group about 3d printing and libraries.  Charles Warpner is the author of “Progress in the Making 3d Printing Policy Considerations Through the Library Lens,“ and “Progress in the Making An Introduction to 3d Printing  and Public Policy.“
