Statement
There are growth opportunities for LITA to be found in non-academic libraries, especially public libraries, and institutions beyond libraries. As Director-at-Large I would work to create a more robust membership by harnessing the enthusiasm for solving problems with technology that has been on display in libraries of all types. I would work to focus LITA as a cross-pollinating clearinghouse for problem solving technologies. As an Administrator in a Public Library, I have seen the adaptation of technologies in our work ranging from deskless service models to the workflows aimed at contributing to DPLA. As your Director-at-Large I would work to expand the appeal of LITA’s exchange of ideas.
