This committee was disbanded as of July 1996. Tbe LITA Internet Room Steering Committee has transferred responsibility for the ALA Internet Room to ALA Conference Services.
Charge
The ALA Internet Room provides a forum for Internet education, exploration, discovery, and use for attendees of ALA annual and midwinter conferences. The mission of the LITA Internet Room Steering Committee is to plan, organize, coordinate, staff, and develop new visions for the Internet Room and associated demonstration and satellite facilities.
