IRRT Poster Session Committee
Statement of Role, Purpose, and Function
The Committee publicizes, solicits, reviews and evaluates all international poster session submissions for annual conference and oversees their presentation.
Every year, the Poster Session Committee invites proposal submissions for posters by librarians from around the world on topics relevant to international librarianship, to be presented at the ALA Annual Conference & Exhibition.
The 2026 ALA Annual Conference & Exhibition will be held in Chicago, IL, June 25-29, 2026. The Global Solutions Poster Session time and location will be posted when available.
Global Solutions session category is dedicated to posters by international and US librarians engaging with international libraries or global topics in librarianship. Posters will highlight ideas and projects, research studies, practical problem-solving efforts, or innovative library programs. Posters on wide ranging topics are considered.
