The purpose of the Social Media and Outreach Committee is to:
- Effectively and efficiently promote GODORT efforts, members, and relevant government information in a timely manner.
- Maintain all GODORT social media accounts.
- Assess social media engagement analytics.
- Actively solicit social media content from GODORT committees.
- Curate, schedule, and formally post social media content in appropriate social media channels.
- Maintain and update GODORT's website.
- Manage GODORT's LibGuides accounts.
- Create and maintain guidelines, timelines, and best practices for GODORT's online platforms, including LibGuides.
The committee oversees both GODORT's Facebook, Instagram and X accounts.
