Government Documents Round Table (GODORT)
Our Mission
The mission of the Government Documents Round Table (GODORT) is to 1) provide a forum for discussion of problems, concerns, and for exchange of ideas by librarians working with government document; 2) provide a force for initiating and supporting programs to increase availability, use, and bibliographic control of documents; 3) increase communication between documents librarians and other librarians; (4) to contribute to the extension and improvement of education and training of documents librarians.

Any ALA member with an interest in government information may become a member of GODORT! GODORT provides its members with many opportunities for discussion, continuing education and participation. Learn more.
These are informal sessions for the GODORT community and friends to meet and talk about issues in government information. You do not need to be a GODORT member to attend (but we would love to have you join!)
