Join us for a free online chat in December with alumni about funding your library degree and tips on applying for a Spectrum Scholarship! Signup by November 26 at https://goo.gl/forms/CmCqoGm3WIjIjaeG3.

Please help the American Library Association support current and prospective graduate students in library and information science by sharing more information on our scholarship opportunities. Each year ALA provides over $450,000 in scholarships.

The Spectrum Scholarship Program, an initiative of ALA’s Office for Diversity, Literacy and Outreach Services, provides scholarships to American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, Middle Eastern and North African, and/or Native Hawaiian/Other Pacific Islander students to assist them with obtaining a graduate degree and leadership positions within the profession and ALA. More than 1,100 library leaders of color have benefited from funding, community building, and opportunities to collectively advance equity, diversity, and inclusion as part of the Spectrum network.
