National Library Week, April 6-12, 2025, is a celebration highlighting the valuable role libraries, librarians, and library workers play in transforming lives and strengthening our communities.

The first National Library Week was observed in 1958 with the theme "Wake Up and Read!" The 2025 celebration marks the 67th anniversary of the first event. Tools to celebrate are available on the National Library Week web page.
