Graphic Medicine responds: Comics in the Age of COVID-19

Webinar

ALA Graphic Novels and Comics Round TableIn the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, comics creators are doing what they do best: capturing the feeling of the moment by drawing it out, panel-by-panel. Comics meant to inform the public appeared long before public health measures were enacted in the U.S. and every day more people turn to comics to chronicle their lives in this endlessly changing moment.

Hear from Alice Jaggers and MK Czerwiec, two members of the GraphicMedicine.org team, discussing the emergence of COVID-19 comics and catch up with Beth Barnett and Maria Photinakis, two cartoonists creating COVID-19 diary comics. Presented by the ALA Graphic Novel and Comics Round Table.
