Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this four-week course, attendees will:

  • Describe and summarize the UDL framework, accessibility considerations, and several educational technologies that can be used in the library to improve access and equity.
  • Investigate different UDL techniques and distinguish which techniques would be applicable at their own libraries.
  • Brainstorm about ways to implement UDL in their own libraries.
  • Formulate a plan for UDL implementation in the library.

Who Should Attend:

This is a fundamentals course that will appeal to anyone interested in the topic with no previous experience. Academic Librarians, School Librarians and Public Librarians may especially have use for learning about UDL.
