The Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) is inviting all Spectrum Scholars to take part in an important early-career development program which pairs Spectrum Scholars with successful and experienced academic/research librarians. Your mentors are leaders in academic/research libraries, ALA, and ACRL. Take advantage of this tremendous opportunity to jump start your career with the help and guidance of outstanding professionals. We currently have mentors who work in all types of academic and research institutions.

The ACRL Dr. E. J. Josey Spectrum Scholar Mentor Program is helping to develop of the next generation of academic and research librarians by linking Spectrum Scholars who are library school students or newly graduated librarians with established academic librarians. These mentors will provide mentoring and coaching support; serve as a role model in academic librarianship; and provide guidance in seeking a career path and opportunities for leadership in the profession.
