AASL Virtual Membership Meeting and a house made of blocks
AASL will hold its annual virtual membership meeting on Wednesday, June 12, at 6:00 p.m. Central. The membership meeting requires no official vote of AASL membership, so all school library professionals are invited to attend.

The annual membership meeting provides a “state of the association” update from leadership. During the event, AASL President Courtney Pentland will hold an open conversation on the association’s initiatives, programs, recognitions, and financial standing.

Holding the annual meeting virtually allows a greater number of AASL members to attend, participate, and stay up to date with their association. The online format also allows all members of the profession to be informed on the work AASL undertakes as the only national professional membership organization focused solely on the needs of school librarians and the school library community.
