Individual Tickets

Individual tickets can be purchased as part of your ALA Annual Conference Registration. Please visit the ALA Annual Conference registration page to reserve your ticket! If you are experiencing issues with registration on the ALA Annual Conference registration page, please email alaregistration@csreg.zohodesk.com.

Vegetarian Meal Requests

Guests who purchased ticket(s) will receive an email in early June with a special web URL where they can place special meal requests.

7:15 am - Breakfast Begins
7:30 am - Awards Ceremony Begins

We are inviting student artists in kindergarten through Grade 12 to submit original artwork inspired by the powerful and inspiring Coretta Scott King Book Award winning books. Selected works will be printed and displayed at the Coretta Scott King Book Awards Breakfast at the American Library Association Annual Conference on Sunday, June 29, 2025. CSK Breakfast FAQ

Q: When do doors open to the banquet hall?
A: 6:30 am. Attendees will not be allowed in the room before this time.

Q: How many seats are at each table?
A: There are 10 seats at each table.

Q: I want to sit with nine of my friends; can I purchase a table?
A: Yes, anyone attending the CSK Breakfast may reserve a table. The table must be purchased as a whole (no partial table sales) and paid for in a single transaction.

Q: Are there assigned seats?
A: Those who purchase an individual ticket are not assigned a seat. Those ticket holders may sit at any unreserved table. Those who purchase a table will receive a table assignment in advance.

Q: Will tickets be available at the door?
A: Tickets will not be available for purchase at the door.

Q: I need two or more tables. Will they be located together?
A: CSK makes every effort to locate tables together.

Q: How do I reserve my table?
A: You can reserve your table when you register for the ALA Annual Conference or after you have already registered.

Q: How do I request a vegetarian or other special meal?
A: In early June, each table host will receive an email with instructions on making meal requests. Table hosts, please pass the email instructions on to your table guests.

Q: Will the authors and illustrators be signing books?
A: The authors and illustrators will not sign books during the breakfast. However, please check the conference program guide - there is a good chance they will be signing in their publisher's booth sometime during the conference!
