Coretta Scott King Book Awards Round Table Leadership Interest Form

The Coretta Scott King Book Awards Round Table (CSKBART) is seeking dedicated members who are passionate about advancing the mission and legacy of the Coretta Scott King Book Awards to serve in elected leadership positions. We are currently recruiting candidates for the 2027 ALA/CSKBART Election for the following offices: Vice-Chair/Chair Elect: The Vice Chair/Chair Elect shall serve the first year after election as Vice-Chair/Chair Elect and the Standing Program Committee Chair, the second year as Chair, and the third year as Immediate Past Chair. Assistant Treasurer: The Assistant Treasurer shall serve the first year after election as the Assistant Treasurer and the second year as the Treasurer. Recording Secretary: The Recording Secretary shall serve for two years. Corresponding Secretary: The Corresponding Secretary shall serve for two years. Serving in a leadership role is an opportunity to help shape the future of CSKBART, support our members, and promote excellence in children's and young adult literature that reflects the African American experience.
