During 2015-2016, the Intellectual Freedom Committee approved several new privacy guidelines intended to assist librarians, libraries, schools and vendors to develop best practices for online privacy and data management and security.

Any Core member can request access the sandbox to learn how to use OCLC's WorldShare Management Services (WMS) system and get hands-on practice at no additional cost. Even if your library doesn't use WMS, this unique learning opportunity gives library workers who want to learn new skills and systems the ability to work directly in a library management system.

This resource appears annually in The Library & Book Trade Almanac published by Information Today. It is compiled by the members of the Library Materials Price Index Editorial Board, a subgroup of the Core Publications Coordination Committee, and is a rich source of data broken down by U.S. and foreign published materials as well as by the material types (periodicals/serials and books).
