Coordinates and manages the logistics for Core's Drupal website, WordPress sites, and other software not managed by ALA. Manages access to Core's technology sandboxes.

About this Committee


  • Maintains Core's WordPress sites;
  • Builds new WordPress sites as requested;
  • Maintains the interface, navigation, and member editor access to Core's LibGuides installations;
  • Recommendations for improving Core's web properties and servies.

Expected Time Commitment

  • Holds 8-10 virtual meetings meetings each year;
  • Group members work an average of 1-2 hours per month.

Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Experience building websites in WordPress, especially in WP theme manipulation;
  • Knowledge of CSS, HTML;
  • Drupal experience is also good for the main Core site;
  • Good design skills;
  • Experience using and interpreting Google Analytics, Matomo, or other analytics tools;
  • Knowledge or and experience with UX and user experience testing;
  • Working on a virtual team;
  • Willingness to learn any of these skills.
