Publications Coordination Committee

Charge

  • Coordinates Core publishing and information dissemination activities
  • Conducts regular assessments of Core publishing outlets and recommends new modes of dissemination as needed
  • Advises and assists the Core Board with setting publishing priorities
  • Identifies and maintains publishing standards for Core publications
  • Promotes and encourages research and publication in topics of interest to Core members
  • Reviews proposals and manuscripts, and recommends the most appropriate format for publication
  • Coordinates the integration of Core's journals into the division's publication and promotional schedule

Expected Time Commitment

  • Holds 4-6 virtual meetings and no face-to-face meetings each year
  • Group members work an average of 2 hours per month
  • May and November are the busiest months

  • Actively engaged as a member of Core and reader of its publications
