Library workers often find themselves in manager roles and leadership positions during their careers, either through choice, accident, or assignment. It can be a difficult transition initially and can prove increasingly isolating as one moves further up the organization chart. This e-Forum will explore a variety of topics of interest to managers and leaders, from preparing to apply for a new leadership position to designing your first 90 days, and from building trust in your work team to proven systems for effective communication. The moderators seek to encourage connections between participants, knowing that colleagues and mentors provide critical support networks for library managers and leaders.
If you have questions, need assistance, or would like to propose an e-Forum topic, please write to core-eforum+help@groups.io.
